A little drive but check with Elders Hardwood in East Tx. I've bought lots of cedar from them.

You could get rough cut 2x6 cedar at any big box hardware store and DIY. Should be pretty easy but a little labor intensive

if you have time, drive to McQueeney, there is a guy there in town that has tons of mesquite and I am pretty sure he has cedar? pm me if you want his info. He did a mesquite mantel for me and it is beautiful.

Clark's Hardwood Lumber in the Heights. Don't know if they have cedar, but they always have a big stock of live-edge slabs.
