There's a reason why the QAD is so popular.....set it up right and it'll work just fine. I've had several QAD HDX's and have never had a failure.

No need to, if it ain't broke, why fix it? The HDX has the anti-bounce back feature, I think that eliminates a lot of the problems some people have had. I wouldn't be opposed to trying a limb driven rest and the Pro V has a loyal following for sure. From what I hear, the Pro V has it beat in the noise department and that's my one gripe with it, the HDX can be loud from slapping the riser shelf with the arm when it falls. The one on my HeliM is super quiet and has between 1/8"-1/4" of space, with no danger of slapping it and making a sound.

I've asked some well respected tuners and they all endorse the HDX for a strictly hunting rest. Full capture, no bounce back and easy to setup.

I agree Daniel but I really think most problems with the QAD is the lesser models like the HD LD Hunter, I have never have seen issues with the HDX personally, I had the HD and switched the Pro V.

I have 5 Limbdriver Pro's just sitting on my bench and while I think they are great accurate rest, They are too loud for my liking in a hunting situation. Haven't tried the V though......Who wants a Pro for $50 each TYD.

I have brother. It's a nice rest but I greatly prefer the HDX for hunting. Target. I would shoot a LD Pro (well really the micro Elite) without a doubt, just not my choice for a hunting rest.

My Limbdriven choice for hunting would be a TT Smackdown Pro. By far the quietest rest I have messed with.
