Thumbs up Team Sunday service / worship and praise

I've thought about this the last few yrs and finally decided to act.

On Sunday morning, TBH has reserved a conference room where a fellowship of praise and thanks will gather. For those interested, I was thinking a few scriptures could be read by volunteering participants. Perhaps even a short sermon about unity and brotherhood.

It's all about thanking the man upstairs for all he has blessed us with. Prayers and a moment of silence will be included for those who are no longer with us . We will also ask God to watch over us in our travels home.

A few christian songs and the service could be wrapped up in 45 min to 1 hour. We'll definitely have enough guitars there to sing n play Kumbaya

Ms Mary has done the footwork (THANK YOU ma'am) and the BW has rented us a conference room for Sunday a.m..

I was thinking 8:30 ~ 9:30 ??? since many like to eat b-fast and get on the road home for 10:30 - 11:00a.

is this to early ? share your suggestions and post them up .

There is a fee involved as a few dollars each should cover the cost

For up to 30 people max it will be $75 ; for 31 - 60 .... $150

anybody can join this group as I have zero experience running a praise & worship service. To me, it feels like the right thing to do as I told Ms Mary I would run with this

Tmag, BroBill, BowVista , any others ....... hop on the bus as I'm waiting for ya !!

Way to step up Blake, great idea my friend. As it stands now I will be heading back home Saturday afternoon. If something changes I will be there.

I know there are a lot of good men and women in TBH that can step up and put the Word out there. Love all these great responses.

I'd like to sign my wife and myself up to sing/play at least one praise song. I need to get her input, but we would love to do "God of Wonders" if we are staying through Sunday morning. I will get back to you soon.
