I've been putting most of my shooting into getting my new stick ready to hunt. Then I messed myself up for a couple days sweating multiple anchor points and blah blah blah.
Yesterday I worked hard on10 yards and less and ended up getting out to 17 with things seemingly dialed in. So I printed it off and took a shot this morning. A tad high and left. I used a sharpie to outline the arrow. Good idea Rick.
Ok had time to shoot one . 2 3/4 inches ! Not good enough ! Good shootin guys
Maybe not good enough to win the challenge, BUT Darn Sure good enough to put it through the boiler room from 15 yards with your first shot, and THAT is what these challenges are all about.

Note where the nails are placed in the paper.
All 4 are located at exactly the midway point of the side they are in. I measured them as I poked them in.
This enabled me to easily visually transpose lines between the nails,
for an imaginary cross at the center of the paper.
The only reason I decided to post this is, to show how even the simplest of visual aid can help you make a good shot.
Look at your animal, and pick your spot to shoot.
Almost always there will be a physical characteristic at the spot,
or characteristics you can triangulate to the spot.
