The cost of the Tournament is $70/person (includes tax). Please mail your completed Registration Form and check to the address on the bottom.

Tournament Format and Awards

Format:

2-Man Scramble is the competition format. It is exactly what it sounds like: a scramble in which the teams consist of two players each. After each shot, the better of the two shots is selected and both players play from that spot, until the ball is holed. One team score is recorded.

Two Flights:

1) Trophy Class Flight – As a guideline, if the combined handicaps (or best guess) are 25 or under, the team belongs in the Trophy Flight.

2) Cull Flight

**Winners of the previous year’s Cull Flight automatically move to this year’s Trophy Flight**

Tournament Awards:

1st 2nd and 3rd places in EACH of the two flights will be awarded trophies.
(12 trophies)

Additional Contests & Prizes:

1) Closest to the Pin Contests (2)

Cash prizes will be awarded on two par three holes for the competitor that hits his or her tee shot
closest to the pin from the designated tee box. (Cash amount based on participation.)

2) Long Drive Holes (2)

Cash Prizes will be awarded on two par fives to the competitor that hits the longest tee shot from his or her designated tee box The tee shot MUST be in the fairway in order to qualify. (Cash amount based on participation.)

Tentative plans for Awards and general Happy Hour for all site members to join- Flips Patio (more info on this to come)

Note: This tournament will strictly be a fun, quality event conducted through tournament fees.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Sending my entry in today. I will need a partner

I have not played a full round in over two years so I need to get enough rounds in to establish a handicap.

Codie promised me that we'd get to play with Mary's team.

By the way, I'm not sure what my handicap is, but Codie's handicap is having me on his team.

Trust me...you will not be alone in bad game of golf. We have a WIDE variety of golf talent that shows up.

Only requirement is to know this is a fun tournament and if you can suck at golf and have fun...you got what it takes!

Not this year. In listening to comments last year , we decided to keep cost as low as possible. This has never been a money maker for TBH. Money in is money out for the event. Cutting shirts and dinner at course was the only option.

We're experimenting this year on ways to get more involvement.

I'm bringing at least two with me. They will be available on the range.
Everybody will get chances to hit them. I'm giving a door prize to whoever, in my judgement, hits the best, worst or most memorable shot. In other words, it will be highly subjective and the decision of the committee is final.

Saw where Tiger sent in his entry for the US Open. I don't think I'll pick him in the TBH contest.

I'm in for a 1 iron / chicken stick hitting contest on the range. I do all my best shot making on the range for sure.
Tiger will help the tv ratings.

I still owe Codie his $5 for the masters. I'll go double or nothing with him and Shane that Tolbert and I will lose more balls than them .

You can sign up solo. I am going to start another thread for those looking for a team member. We can work to combine players on that thread.

Just in case, is a 7 1/4 a S or M if they are not sized.

I just heard Brad Faxon interviewed about the U.S. Open. Looks like I may get my wish. He said is the conditions get tough there will be scores in the 80's and maybe 90's.
