Shooting Bench Plans

Anybody have plans for a shooting bench? Looking at building a permanent bench to shoot off of here at the house. It is only a 100 yards but would like to have a nice shooting bench to do load work ups here locally before driving 2.5 hours to the Cadillac range I have access to. I am open to either metal or wood.

I will try to remember to get you some pictures of the one I made. The bench is nice enough but honestly since I built a picnic table for the ranch it is all we use for shooting.

The range near my house uses cinder blocks for risers, and concrete for tops, with astro turf on top. They are L shaped for right or left hand shooters. I would build T shaped for either. Very sturdy

If it isn't gonna be covered, make it out of cast concrete 4" thick, and mount it on drill-stem pipe set 4' in the ground.
