    honda front breaks

I have a 1998 Honda that needs front breaks. could not get the hub of after about a hour of pounding, hitting, screw drivers, all the things that I used to remove break hubs in the past. home made press. that's why I have a welder. trust me, it took about 200 pounds pressure to get this to snap off. the bearing was a solid rust ring.

Did you back the brake adjustment off before trying to remove?

could not get to that. bought it this way. setting up for about three years. after setting in water for one of them I think. the right side was easy.

I had a 91 with those type brakes. I took them off and put disc brakes on it. Haven't looked back since...

Might need to borrow that puller. I have a 2000 that squeaks when it warms up.
