Personal best 8 point

a big 8 is something I have wanted for a long time. A couple years ago I spotted one on the ranch and hunted him for the last 3 years. This particular 8 seems to be one of the first to break points off every year. Friday afternoon he showed himself once again and I noticed he had already chipped his brow tine, but did not give me a shot as he walked away into the mesquite. Saturday morning was cold and he was a no show. Saturday afternoon he was one of the first into the sendero. He finally presented a good shot and that was all she wrote. he weighed 180 pounds and taped out at 137 4/8. I am pretty sure he is 6.5 ish years old. Taken with my gun on MLD property. He is not my biggest deer but I am still proud of him
