    Scope on a revolver?

Red dot, reflex, scout, pistol scope or sight or whatever scope.
Am I the only one that thinks a scope on a revolver is dumb?
Do you think it ruins the looks of a revolver?
If you can't shoot a revolver without "help" maybe you shouldn't be shooting a revolver?
Come on help me out or set me straight!
    God bless!
    Semper Fi.
A guy wanted to trade me a S&W 629 for a NHM-91 I have posted on TGT. Man, I was all excited! He sends pictures. The thing had a 8" barrel with a red dot sight/scope whatever.
It looked like a UFO landing on an aircraft carrier to me.

    Yup your the only one!

I like mine and I can shoot it either way. Do I consider it "help"??? No

Personal preference and don't care what others think!

            Scope on a revolver?

My two Hunters. 44 Bisley and 22lr/22mag Single Six. Been a while since I shot em but they are both very accurate at 50yds, and I bet I could group well with the 44 at 100.

A scope is definitely not out of place on a wheel gun.

It all depends on the intended usage.

I've always thought it was kinda sexy to have a scope on a revolver. Ever since I saw Adrienne Barbeau with one in Escape From New York.

Ruger Super Redhawk, .454 Casull. Since this picture I've added a Ruger Super Blackhawk in .454 Casull.

try shooting sub 2" groups without one at 100 yards,,, they do have their place,, especially for longer range hunting

I think most revolvers look better without a scope but I'm also practical and realize you get way more from them with a scope.

So for me it would be with a scope.
