Not POC but across the bay in Matagorda they were blasting away this morning. We were fishing and saw a ton of ducks. Most I've seen fishing this year.

Mainly redheads or did you see a variety of ducks? Heard reports of a good amount teal and widgeon down as well. Any truth to that ?

I was in West Matagorda all day yesterday. Saw more ducks than I have all year. Most looked like red heads, but a few groups of teal as well. With that being said, most of the larger groups were a good ways off. Who knows what they were.

Yea, Fargus. I've been looking at the temps. Like you I hope its cool, but I am thinking you're spot on. Thermacell is going to be needed. As the saying goes, better to have it and not need it, then to needed it and not have it.

Lot of redheads but a variety. Saw a big number of teal and pintail.

For those coming down Thursday evening... pending time of your arrival, there is a seafood restaurant called cathys in port o Conner that has an all you can eat shrimp and fish for $19. I know the group of us that will be down early Thursday will be eating there that night, I say we just make that our first party night meet and greet.
