Glow-in-the-dark TCU table for my boys

My wife was wanting a small art table for our two young boys, so I decided to make one. Instead of doing something simple/quick, I went with a glow-in-the-dark TCU table. I added some purple glow-in-the-dark powder to some epoxy resin and poured it into the recessed TCU. Once it dries, I will sand it, paint it, and poly it.

Will let you know how it turns out.

That looks nice , where do you get the stencils? And how did you cut it out with a router?

I just printed out the logo, cut the letters out with an xacto knife (pushing hard enough to leave a mark in the wood), traced it with a pencil, then cut it out with a jigsaw.

That looks like it will be pretty cool!

I use to make tables and coffee tables when I was in school to pay for my wife's engagement ring. I would print out a logo and cut out stencils and use them to stain.

I'm interested to see how the glow in the dark works out.

If you are still looking at making knives, I should have some time in mid-September on a early Saturday or Sunday. No time right now, and too durn hot.

Just need to add a poly coat, and build some chairs, but the table is done for the most part.
