Building a corn feeder

hey guys I am thinking about building a new feeder for the ranch?

what do you think they cost would be?

do you think its better to build one or just buy one? Barrel is going to be a 55 gallon metal barrel

All depends on what you are envisioning exactly. weight, height, slinger or gravity. winch up or stand n fill or typical feeder. many choices out there.

i was thinking of a shorter feeder on skids to allow the feeder to be filled without a latter.

ok thats a stand n fill type, now how much corn are you wanting it to hold? timer and slinger setup? motion kill lights?
