Do you soak the beans the day before?

Sounds awesome! I just learned my wifes recipe and asked to keep some on hand all the time...pretty similar but different
          - 2 cups pinto beans
          - 6 cups chicken broth/stock/buillon&water
          - 1 can rotel
          - 1 onion
          - 2 tblspn garlic minced
          - 1/4 cup taco seasoning
          - 1-2 tablespoons canola oil (keeps foam down)
Soak beans eight hours. Pour off water. Add all ingredients except taco seasoning in pressure cooker and cook 45 min...plus 15 min to pressurize...one hour total. Add seasoning after cooking and stir.

We salt our food to taste. Im a spicy hot type of dude, not so much for the wife. Ive always seasoned prior to cooking but I cant dispute delicious.

Good recipe Skeeter...crock pot beans rule...been cooking them for years with mixed results! Im gonna give your recipe a whirl. Thanks!

I didn't soak the beans and they turned out great after 8 hours on high and 2 on low.
