New Elevated Box Blinds Set Up

Me, TxAg, MLank and Brokeno headed out to my place this weekend to set up two new box blinds. I built these two in my garage and drove them out on a flatbed and then pieced them together in the field. They are 6x6 boxes on 6x8 bases on top of 8 foot 4x4s with blind elevators. They turned out great and its a nice view from up there. Can't wait to sit in these on a cold rainy November day. Thanks TxAg, MLank and Brokeno for all the help. It was good times for sure.

never built ones like this on elevated stands before.. Did you assemble them in the field as one piece and then tilt them up in place or build the stand and then lift the blind on top and secure?

we lifted the base up on top of the mule roof. Then slid the 4x4 legs into the blind elevators. Then leveled and braced the base.

Then we took the front wall and put it on the mule and then had two guys on the base and two guys on the ground and lifted it up and tacked it down. Did the same for the left and right walls.

Then we walked the roof in and finally put the back wall into place.

In the process of building my second bow box blind now. It will be 6x6x6 ft with 6' legs. I like how you braced your legs off. Where did you get the metal braces?

Got any pics of the inside?

Still surprised how fast the second one came together after practicing on the first

They are Blind Elevators from Academy. They are pricey but worth it.

I don't think I took pics of the inside but I used the 48x12 Deerview hinge windows on the front and sides and have a 24x12 window and Deerview door on the back.
