    Mesquite coffee table

Got a nice log 4 years ago from the highway 83 expansion south of Catarina. Had it milled and final got around to building a small table. I trimmed planed, jointed. Buisct cut and glued. Then sanded a lot. Built the legs out of 7/8 sucker rod bent with torch and welded to a base I cut out with CNC and welded up. Flat black for the legs, and 3 coats of flat acrylic for the wood. Very sturdy and I think it turned out nice.
