I tried to edit the post, but it won't let me. It's supposed to be 3 cups of dewberries- not lbs [emoji15]
I saw the change from pounds to cups later in the thread. That's what I used but, I doubled the crust recipe for a little more crunch. It was some good eatin!

I ve got ten gallons picked so far this year. Gave some to the grandmas for baking but the rest is going for wine. And still have plenty green berries on the vines.

We got a couple quarts of blackberries this weekend and made a cobbler. Cooked the berries down with sugar, water and corn starch slurry. Poured into the cast iron and then poured a box of yellow cake mix on top and then poured a cream soda over that. Baked at 350 for 45 minutes. Awesomeness.

I'm glad this thread was brought back up! I just got home from pickin' about 3-4 cups of dewberries at Stan R's place. Stan locked his thread about them, but I was glad we went over. Nice people and they have lots of vines. They need about another good rain and a couple of weeks and there'll be another trip for more! I haven't done this in years.

                  Thanks Stan!
