This past weekend and yesterday I was involved in planting 16 different plots of various sizes. We took advantage of all this rain. We planted Friday and Tuesday it was up about a 1/2" already. Planted 2 more plots yesterday and got rain on it about an hour later.

So to answer your question, it mostly depends on your location and the amount of rain you have had. That being said, NOW is the time.

Don't tell me that lol. Last year they wiped us out. First time we'd had a problem in 10 years. We are going to plant 9/29 this year.

since the foot of rain we recv'd over the weekend, is safe to say its too wet to till right now, will give it a few days and then go plant my Deer Season Blend.
Have some brush to burn first though.
