This pic shows him feeding in a mesquite bush where I piled corn. It's about 16 yards from my ground blind. He's quartering away. Only problem is that this is at night.



Here's my ground blind. I have 3 shooting lanes. Only problem I have with it is the MONTROUS King Snake that tried to come in while I was reading a book. I've NEVER seen a snake this big. If it's head were bigger, I would swear it was a boa. I don't like snakes, but I'm not exaggerating. I walk in very cautiously. If my little brother had been there, he'd have tried to catch it and it would have been quite a show.

Width = 21
Beams = 48
G1's = 11
G2's = 13
G3's = 19
G4's = 11
OP's = 7 (can't see both splits too well)
Mass = 34

Total = 164

I am with the less than 160 guys, I have him at 156. I don't think he has the mass or the tine length to get there. Main beam length is a bit short too, up and fgorward not back and forward. Clear the space on your wall for the mount. Thwack is the next thing you should hear after you see him in your shooting lane.

I had the same G1 - G3 and XP's, 2 less on the G4's, 3 less on width, 4 less on beams, 2 more on mass as Saltwater Slicks.

Love the ground blind set up Doc...very nice! I would have to say he is over 160 also. I got him around 162 or so. Dang good looking deer!

I'd get the okay from the powers that be BEFOREHAND. You got enough pictures for them to say yay or nay. He's so close and so old they ought to give an old protein slinger like you the green light.
