Cheap Steer Feed????

My youngest daughters steer is not gonna make the weight. I want to feed it out to about 1300 pounds, need cheap feed ideas please...... This show chow is heavy on the wallet

My daughter feeds reclaimed brewers grain. $20.a 55gal barrel. I dont know where she gets it or how good it is for feeding out a butcher calf. She supplements with it during the winter. I have seen it on SA craigslist

Norman beef trate and whole shell corn. It works. Only takes 1/2 pound of beef trate per feeding. Give some hay free choice to control roughage requirements and your good to go.
