I just finished reading "1491". It's about the condition of the America's before Columbus, and others, got here. Very eye opening, and thought provoking. Just wondering if anyone else has read it and has thoughts on the book.

Love history, will have to add this to my list on Amazon. It will be a couple books back though. I have Dominion playing now and another on deck.. lol -

It's a very interesting read. As i recall my history lessons from middle and high school, C Columbus happened to straggle onto this unknown land that had a few thousand renegade savages on it. North, Central, and South America seem to have had a much bigger history than i ever imagined. Much more "evolved". It presents some pretty big questions.
Saying that, there's a lot of guess work that i don't know can ever be proven, or totally figured out. I really enjoyed it.Comment
