Youth Weekend and MLD 2 (can they shoot a buck)

Question. If our lease is MLD 2. Can kids take bucks on youth weekend using the MLD tags? I know on MLD 2 normally you can only shoot does from October - November or start of general gun season and bucks from November to end of February.

There is no MLD 2 anymore. It's either the Harvest Option or Conservation Option. But, for either, if MLD tags have been issued, you MUST use those tags (illegal to use hunting license tags if MLD tags have been issued for a property). The only exception is if you went with the Antlerless Only Harvest Option. In that case, you would use hunting license tags on bucks only. For non-MLD, bucks are legal game for the kiddos during the youth season.
