I was wondering that too. It has survived several centuries of storms but even the way they have it all cabled-up it may not have made it through this one.

The wife talked to some of the distant folks and asked about the tree, the girl said it's pretty much worse for wear but still up. But this is friend of a friend type info so it's still, who knows for sure.

My friend's house just down the road from it lost it's roof, and the other houses in the area are gone. Hopefully the tree survives.
