    Pig Contest Contestants RELAX.......One MONSTER less to worry about

    As we were sitting on the deck Saturday night drinking Titos & JalapeƱo Lemonade, I got a call at 11pm. With one glance, I looked at the screen and said aloud: "Eddie must have killed a big one"
    Answering the phone confirmed what I already knew. Eddie began to tell me of what he was looking at and what was going on. It was all I could do, not to load my truck up and head to Bastrop to partake in what was going to be a banner night at the ranch. I soon got a text pic of the beast Eddie took down with his Matthews. We guestimated the weight and the next mornings pics of the scale show the mass of this behemoth boar. He bottoms a 300lb scale out HARD. Everyone in the Hamslam other competitions can relax, I had a full weekend planned with the family and we didnt team up to enter. This is also one that wont take prize in future contests, but Eddie proves once again he is KING of the big boars.

              2 cans lemonade concentrate (yellow)
              4 fresh JalapeƱos
              3 Lemons
              Titos Vodka

              Make the lemonade (minus one can of water if mixing with vodka)
              Cut the lemons in 1/4" slices or disks
              Cut 1 JalapeƱo in slices leaving seeds
              3 JalapeƱos make vertical slices down length of pepper (4 or 5 slits)
              Add all peppers and lemons to lemonade and shake or stir and let sit for 4-5 hours for best results, but you can speed up the process by shaking.
              Pour over ice and mix with Titos
              This drink is ADDICTING. I make virgin pitchers here at work and it goes in minutes. It is FAR better when it sits overnight though as it gets quite a bit spicier an more of the pepper flavor. Keep some JalapeƱo slices and lemon slices to add to each glass if you are going for show too.
