I'm no Painter...

Finally getting around to painting the hood of my beater daily driver car. I wrecked it many years ago and fixed it all myself. New hood came in black primer and I never painted it. Well I finally decided to throw a cheap paint job on it. Been about 20 years since I did any paint/body work. It's not like riding a bicycle LOL.

For the purpose this car serves it doesn't need to be nice. Just all the same color is good enough. Part of me really wants to take my time on it, but I should be spending my time on other projects. The Orange Peel is gonna bug me bad enough at some point though HAHA

Tractor Supply paint isn't too bad. Its good enough for this car.


Like any project, things tend to snowball.... Painted the wheels since I needed new tires anyways

Nothing wrong with that. I had my first experience with DIY spray in bed liner last month (not the rattle can stuff from wal marks). In lime green. For the money I saved doing it myself it turned out great. When it cools off son and I are gonna do the nerf bars on his jeep

I think I am going to do my Four Wheeler with bed liner. Plastic is faded and paint doesn't stick well.

Raptor liner from Amazon and the 13 dollar spray gun. I used 2 bottles on a gun rack and a Clay's basket for a golf car but I probably lost a lot with over spray
