Colder the better. As long g as I'm out of the wind. I don't care if it's wet, snowing(don't ever see that) or ice. I'm in the stand. But her in Texas, if it's 60 or below. I'm hunting. And I'll do all day sits.
I've never found a wx condition where I have refused to go. I'll do everything to keep me and/or the boys comfortable for long sits. I've sat with 3/4 inch ice on the blind with my boys and I toasty and comfortable (rifle hunt). The only times I've been willing to consider calling it quits is a 35+ mph wind on a quail hunt or a 95+ degree ground blind bow hunt.
About the only conditions that queer the deal for me is sustained winds over 20 mph - deer don't move as much and I'm always worried about it affecting arrow flight. "Perfect" as far as I'm concerned is low 40's or colder, cloudy and breeze in the single digits. I like the colder temps partially because it takes the pressure off a bit if you have a long track. I hate racing the clock against spoilage.
