Ran into this little booger this weekend. My buddy had just got out of his truck walked around and jumped out of the way, "I heard a rattle snake" I replied "your asss, over there jumping around" !! I walked over with my phone light, yeah

Yikes I hate all of them but that size the most. It seems they are mostly to try to bite you when larger ones will just try and slip away.
