GO BUCKS !!

I almost didnt get tickets for the game because I just didnt think it would be as fun as going to the local tOSU bar. Then I won tickets. Now TCU is playing well and I got free tickets.

I would think that the Buckeyes pull it out, but I always expect a good showing from Patterson.

I hope I'm wrong on both accounts, but I think USC snags a W by 7 and tOSU wins a good game by 10.

The big 3 of Florida are not very good. Very unusual. It's all the talk on ESPNU radio this week.

Texas will probably lose to USC. Their performance against Maryland and Tulsa hardly inspires confidence against a more talented team than their first two opponents.

I also have a feeling TCU keeps it close. I just don’t know if their offense is good enough to pull off the upset.

Texas A&M has supplanted Texas as America's most valuable college football program.

Forbes magazine on Tuesday released its list of most valuable college football programs based on estimate averages for profits and revenue for the 2014, '15 and '16 seasons. Texas had held the top spot, drawing $100 million in revenue in 2011 and $92 million in profit alone in 2014, mostly from tee shirt sales.

A&M's rise was attributed to an increase in athletic department contributions, running the state, along with more ticket revenue and conference revenue from the Southeastern Conference. SEC. SEC. SEC.

Texas A&M brought in $148 million in revenue and made $107 million in profit, according to Forbes' estimates. Texas made $133 million in revenue and $87 million in profit, again mostly off tee shirt sales.

Two games in man...…..two games...….

Or you had a fired up crowd and team pumped for a big home game with a new coach against a team that generally loses one game a year to an inferior opponent OOC...…...but they won that game this year?

The Ags and Horns are both 1-1 (although one program certainly feels different than the other at the moment). I think it's WAY premature to label TH's talent as "falling short" two games into his second season. He landed many (most) of the same talent that A&M was recruiting last February. Hopefully the Texas HS talent that Jimbo is pulling so far this year isn't "overrated", as well.

I assure that I am not stating that aTm has arrived as in challenging for a SEC title. They are a year or 2 away at best. Their defense has just finally made a transition from soft to being good. Not great.

Ummm commits are ranked up until signing day, committed or not. What he is saying is that recruits get bumps in rankings after they commit to certain schools at times and it inflated the rankings.

Everybody knows at times big school recruits get benefit of doubt more

LMAO.

That did not happen. That's TBH Aggy logic. It's hilarious.

Keep reachin.

Texas only had two 5 star......now UGA on the other hand...….

The bias is west of the Mississippi.

If your going to claim Texas recruits don’t get some bias in rankings, like other programs do as well, then your sticking your head in the sand.

I’ve heard you claim strong was good coach and had better staff than sumlin, Herman was gonna be the man. 9-10 win seasons for past 5 years, and yet you continue to suck.

So if they recruits aren’t over inflated by rankings and are legit talented, why do y’all suck? Is it coaching or talent?

Recruiting rankings this decade say got plenty talent, but u say you have good coaches... something isn’t computing.... I say it’s your coaches suck personally

I agree at the moment but we are only 2 games into year 2.

Strong was far from my first choice. I questioned Herman due to his lack of D but then that seemed better last year.

I don't suck bro. LOL. I am just an optimistic kinda guy. The negative Debbie downers drive me nuts.

It's not just Texas homeboy.

Others that are sucking:

Florida
FSU (second year in a row for Jimbo's player sucking)
Miami
Michigan
USC
Nebraska
Tennessee
Notre Dame for years.

Your team had all the recruits for a few years. All we heard was how y'all ran this state yet you couldn't capitalize on Texas being down. TCU and BU schooled you. It wasn't your coaches that sucked. It was your entire program for it's entire existence save the one decade.

Newsflash, a large portion of the Texas fanbase is already screaming for Herman to be fired. Why so much talent yet so much sucking? I'm not there yet.

I was thinking that in this day and age of entitlement those 2 QBs there shouldn't have to compete for the job! They should both tell Nick to stick it and go somewhere they can be pandered too! Maybe let him know Nov 1st or 2nd!

Crappie are in trouble this weekend! I haven't caught a lake Fork crappie in 3 weeks nearly!

I would not agree that Michigan or USC has sucked recently. Both teams have won 10 or more games in 2 of the last 3 seasons. UT or TAMU would KILL for a 10 win season.

I do agree on the whole "TAMU didn't capitalize on UT being down" point. However, it's worth nothing that since 1996, TAMU has won 1 conference title, and the Longhorns have won 2 conference titles. That's it. The modern-day gap between the 2 programs has all but disappeared it seems.

This weekend is a quiet slate of games overall, but it's a big weekend for the big 12 imo. If TCU, Texas, and Oklahoma State all lose, and if Duke stomps Baylor, people are gonna be saying that the Big 12 sucks ***. Tech getting stomped by Ole Miss didn't help either..

They won a Natty...

Hell the defense sucked **** through a straw all game and you mention the offense? 4 missed FGs and a dropped TD pass in the end zone by Tulsa? ... plus 21 points in the second half? .... I’m more concerned about them than the offense. The O at least moved the ball some....negated by stupid penalties and drops. All fixable.

Texas brand of football has not inspired as of late. Many on here expected them to blow out Tulsa. I indicated that they would not. I felt they would win in a close one, but there was a fear that they could lose. I don't know what it is, but they are not good. I can't pick them against USC. Having them favored by 3.5 is the kiss of death. They will have to play with zero mistakes and zero penalties. Their run game is not that good and their starting QB makes some serious bad throws at times. He also makes terrible decisions at the absolute worst times. Can they win, yes, because USC is a shell of its former self. Texas has not played well at home in big games though. USC will bring it. I still see a 27-17 USC victory. It hurts me to write that, but let's be real about it.

Incorrect. When called upon it has been pretty dang good.

Again, the problem with the O is PLAYCALLING AND GAMEPLANS THAT DON'T FIT THE QBs SKILL SET.

As Smart said, the D worries e more right now...…..but it is designed to stop Big 12 spread offenses.....soooooo…….
