F150 Tire Question

Anyone running a 285/75/18 tire on a 5.0 with 3.55 gears?

Just about ready to pull the trigger on a set but mildly concerned it'll be too much tire for my setup and hoping someone might have some feedback from a similar setup.

Currently running Omega tune and a level.

I have a 14' FX4 5.0 with Icon suspension. I'm running 295/70r18 and had to do a little trimming due to minor rubbing at full lock. Are you lifted or leveled?

2" level. I've test fit some 295/70/18 without rubbing but I'm looking for a little more height than width with the 285/75's

No, but I am running 275/70/18 Goodyear Duratracs on a leveled 2014 F150 with the 5.0 with no problems

I ran 285/75 on my 08 with NO RUBBING and a 2” leveling kit. It did bog me down a little, but I easily got that back and more with a cold air intake and an edge evolution

Was getting 16-17mpg
