going down south to bow hunt with my buddy (buzzardbayt). We will be hunting deer, but he hasn't seen much on his trail cam as of yet. as a secondary hunt we wanted to do a predator hunt for yotes. To increase our chances, I'm going to use an electronic predator call (free iPhone app and a cheap bluetooth speaker), some rotting meat, perhaps a homemade "twitchy dying varmint" decoy...and my big question is...I have a 3d coyote target. Should I set the target up near the prey decoy, or would the 3d coyote target deter real coyotes from coming in? I've never done a coyote hunt before, so I was hoping you guys could give me some advice as to the usefulness of a 3d coyote target. Thanks! And yes, we'll be using bows from a secluded, elevated stand.
