Default Refurbished scopes?

I was at cabelas and noticed they had some vortex refurbished scopes for pretty good deals when compared to new. Anybody have any experience going this route?

I’ve done it with SWFA’s Sample List and have no problems. It was a Lupy scope.
Did Cabela’s day they’d stand behind it?

I've got a Vortex Viper HSLR 4-16×50 that I'd sell for $400. Shot maybe 25-30 rounds with it on my 5r milspec 308

I have 2 refurbished Burris scopes and both are great.
I believe Vortex is just like Burris...refurbished scopes carry the same warranty as new scopes
