    New Beast Smoker

I've been cooking on an 6'x30" offset smoker for years and decided I wanted one a little bigger.I have been kicking this idea around for about ten years and finally decided to pull the trigger on it. I started with a piece of 20" 0.500 wall pipe 30" long and split it lengthwise. Added a 16" wide plate in the middle, and came up with a 20"x30"x36" bulletproof firebox.

The smoker is 24" x 48" x 96" This is also the size of the grill area.

Tacking it up. It has a 3/8" baffle almost the full length of the smoker.

I have since added 4 5" thermometers and cooked on it once. It cooks great and is within 2-3 degrees from one end to the other. I may add more to it later, but that will do for now.

very nice work...you have some skills!

One suggestion I would make, I would add a set of steel rollers on the back bottom of that pit or it will scrape on curbs... They make one that wakeboard boat trailers come with now to protect the rudder and keep trailer from getting too marred.

The firebox is a lot higher off the ground than it looks, but that's not a bad idea
