States rights cannot take priority on those issues. Can you imagine if some state decided heterosexual marriage would not be allowed?

Some things must be dictated from a federal level if we are going to remain the United States, imo

So since we are playing buts and if's. What if in 10 years, the majority think shifts and a bill is passed restricting same sex marriage at a federal level, will a state's right to allow same sex marriage matter then?

The ways of the GOP are exclusive & segregated, imo.

Minority support is at an all time low for the GOP.

After this election it will be time for another come to Jesus meeting for the dying grand ol' party.

Nothing remotely grand about the party...
