    Lone Star Law Rio Grande

Watching LSL when they're patrolling the Rio Grande and want to know the purpose of the pole running from the bow up over the console to the rear of the boat. Any insight?

Keep ropes, cables from decapiting boat occupants.

its for protection, South side people run thin cable lines across to the North side,,,, high speed and a thin cable/line and or wire line can cause serious bodily injuries...

It can also be a handle to hang on when the stuff hits the fan and they have to haul arse.

I had one on my airboat! Spiderwire 60-100 lbs cuts through skin and soft tissue like butter
And is impossible to see up on plane

A lot of TP&W boats also mount a m-60 up front same as BP and ICE
