That is my brother on the backhoe.
Thought he looked familiar. Build is looking good.

This is where we stood on the 11th after a long weekend on the tractor and bobcat. Work to dark Friday Saturday and Sunday. It was plenty cold that Sunday.

Hog hunting got in the way last weekend. Priorities you know.

This is where we are at now. 50 Days to get to this. These is still a little to do. Rain gutter down spouts and clean up. That will be done after we get the rock done.

The progress will slow down some now. I will do most of the rest of the work with the help of some family. The only labor I intend to pay for now is to sheetrock, tape and texture.

Does the City of Bertram have a water line close by or are you going to drill a well?

Waterline runs down our street but is an undersized line and has pressure. They are not allowing any more taps. I drilled the well about 8 months ago. 340 ft. deep 30 + gals. a minute.

Will it be loft space on top of the rooms?

Just storage over the rooms. Part of the shop space will have my man cave. 12*20. the shop under it will have a 7'2" ceiling. The man cave ceiling will slope from 7' to 13'. There is a 3*6 window for it you can see in one of the pics. The living area will have a vaulted ceiling starting at the kitchen to the back wall.

I will be able to see a feeder from the man cave.

Been plugging along the last couple of weeks get small walls up, but nothing that would show on camera. This weekend had some friends and started with the rafters. we got more than 50% done and we started with the harder part.

Progress being made. Not much worth taking pics of. Over the last few weeks we have plugged a way at rafters. Last weekend I rented a rocksaw and ran 600+ feet of ditch. Sewer, electric and waterline. We have a lot of ditch cleaning ahead of us.

Nothing to take pics of. Septic system passed inspection this week. Laying the rest of the waterline and underground electric this weekend so we can cover all of it at one time.
