Dang it. Not my area, but it's going to be bad this year for Tom Green and Coke. Will be heading out there in another week.

Bad news there, had a bad feeling with the waist high weeds drying up. Hopefully they can get it contained quickly

Yes...Jeff (AntlerCollector) was there this weekend and it was about 1/2 mile south of Redís house Sat. About 3-400 acres burned in what they call the bull trap. Last report was it was contained and stopped when it hit the main road.

Filled protein yesterday, deer haven't been eating much of it as most feeders still had feed. We usually buy 5500 lbs. to fill all the feeders every 3-4 weeks but haven't fed in 6 weeks and returned 1000 lbs. to Palmers. Grass is still very tall and green. Can't wait to review trail cams in a couple of weeks.

450 and 650. I would guess the capacity was about same as price. Maybe 400 and 600. Looked like a good design they are steel. Controls in top under lid. I think itís a company in Coleman or somewhere like that making them.

Our deer are too! Our landowner filled 3,000 lbs last Monday and we were pretty much empty on Friday. We went and bought another 2,000 lbs Saturday.

I cut my feeders down for sure. I like the hopper height even with the truck bed, so itís easily filled from the back of the truck. I guess I just donít think climbing in the back of the truck is all that much work.

Not sure why, I just prefer my feeder up a little bit. As long as I can feed from the tailgate, Iím good.

Haha. I can see where stand and fill is the Gold standard and why everyone is going to them. Theyíre the safest route possible and with that easy as heck to fill. The biggest benefit Iíve seen from them is the new design that doesnít require a coon cage. That and no exposed wires.

Still pretty dang green down at sterling city, some of the grass was starting to turn brown. Maybe a little rain to help them finish out would be nice, but the feeders are going and cameras finally set up. Iím looking forward to pulling some pics in a few weeks to see what is cruising around this year
