    elives the king! sandwitch

i know its old school, but sure some good eats! thay say elives presley could eat 12 at one meal!! recipe 2 slices white bread
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 small ripe banana
    2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
    Directions
Place 2 pieces of white bread in the toaster on a light setting. Heat skillet over medium heat with 2 tablespoons butter. While the bread is toasting, in a small bowl, using a fork mash the ripe banana until it reaches a smooth consistency. Using a knife, take both pieces of the toasted bread and spread 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter, topping 1 side with the mashed banana. Place 1 slice of bread on top of the other forming a sandwich. Place sandwich in hot skillet browning each side, flipping with a spatula, about 2 minutes per side. Take out of skillet, slice on a diagonal and serve on a plate

I recall an interview with Elvis' maid many years ago and she was almost crying as she told how much he loved his fried PB&B sandwiches. She remembered how the butter would drip all the way down to his elbow while eating them.

I have made them too and they are great.

Elives? ELIVES?! This is the King you're talking about. Spell his name right! It's ELVIS.

Seeing as the spellin' police are out...is a sandwitch similar to a sandwich?

            I keed, I keed!

With that much butter, that sandwich probably played a major part in his death...if he is really dead.

I thought the alternative spelling was intentional - I think it is kind of fitting to refer to Elvis as "E-Lives".

Lots of people think E is still out there somewhere, running a Fireworks stand, making Fried PBB sandwiches and living the good life in anonymity. TCB
