There was a post from a while back that was a DIY bow stand that was basically two U's made of PVC connected with elbow joints, bolted together loosely enought to fold up and down. It was kept from unfolding completely by straps between the legs. However, I could not find the post for the life of me. Anyone know what the link is? I made one like it with a few modifications. I was gonna post on that thread, but if I can't find it maybe I'll just post mine.
