    Flyfishing

I had an extremely successful flyfishing trip for white bass a few weeks ago so much so my wife bought me a nice vice and I'm ready to chase some large mouth bass. I tied this.

IF you don't mind me asking, what fly did you use for the white bass?
And the Chartreuse and black is perfect.

Nice! Save some deer hair and duck feathers this fall and tie some during the winter months. Nothing like catching fish on flies you tied yourself (and even cooler when tied with materials from your hunting adventures)!

I used #12 to # 6 Clousers, I tied them with synthetic fly fur and pearl flash. Little over an 1 inch to almost 2 inches they get picky, if you bring varying sizes you'll have great luck. But this is the exactly what I used. But tie 3 color types of this fly, white, solid chartreuse, and white & chartreuse. I used medium bead chains for eyes but tie some with lead. They tend to get more selective as the run moves on but bring a few dryflies too small to medium elk hair caddis fly.
