This cold front got the rut going a bit. I had a nice 8 point this morning come in he just needed to take three more steps.Doe ran off and he went with her.Eveing hunt got in my blind at 2:00 and at 6:30 the woods came alive,i had this 8 point come in at 14 yards, Drew back on him settle the pin and away the arrow went hitting him dbl lung.he ran 80 yards and piled up.

I'm leavin here at 1am to head to throckmorton, I'm hopin they are still Hittin feeders, I have a nice 8 that I let walk last weekend that I'm now regretting so I'm headin back to get him in the morn.

The deer movement was excellent,it was the start of the rut. Bucks were no longer in bachelor groups. I use tinks 69 with a drag rag and it work like a charm.
