Check out Cedar Bayou Marina. The hotel cabins are nice enough and I think $65 a night.

There was a member went by firewoody. I do believe he owned walnut creek resort. I still have some pms from years back with him about the place. Not sure he is around any more but might be worth a shot

Victoria Inns and Whitesboro Inns are close. Sherman and Denison have several hotels..

I'll trade an axis doe hunt for my couch if someone doesnt want to mess with the hotel/camp.. [emoji41]

Think I read where it got new owners. And not very good reviews with the new owners from TBHers. But I have to plead "Not Guilty", Cause I might not be remembering right since I'm a GOF.

New “management” has too many rules that are ridiculous
Then they randomly enforce said rules
Prices went up but nothing of value added
I would just rather not give them any more of my money

Plus this deer hunt I will be solo

Check out Mill Creek Marina. They have some small cabins for cheap too if you don't find a place for the camper.
