    Glucosamine for dogs?

Does anyone give this to their dogs? I have a mutt that as much as I hate to admit is my baby. Vet says she is Vizsla/Lab/Pit.....probably about 4yrs old. She runs like a greyhound all day but there are times I can tell her hips seem to hurt her. Heard about it on the radio. Didn’t know if it was a scam or if dogs benefit from it.

If anyone thinks it’s good stuff I would appreciate some recommendations on what to buy.

Not sure about dogs but works great on my shoulders. I would try it.

That or Dasquin. Both are great. Do it.

Nutramax Dasuquin w/MSM for my 7+ year old male Rottie recommended by our vet. I have used it before on my prior Rotties and it does seem to work.
            Human version works on me!

The vet gave us a brand called pala-tech Glucosamine for our lab, it seems to work well.

At the recommendation of someone on here, I started giving my lab and golden retriever Synovi G4 Joint Health by Bayer and my dogs love them. My golden is 9 and really seems to be more active and less sore after being really active. I buy it in bulk on Amazon.

Dasuquin and/or Flexadin both work great.

Joint Max really helped my lab. I would highly recommend it. She loved the soft chews. Amazon has the soft chews.

We gave our labs glucosamine chewables daily from about age 8 until they died at 14 and 15yrs old. I think it worked.

x2 on the Synovi. Our 14 year old dog improved tremendously after taking these daily for about a month. She likes the taste too - gobbles them right down

Our vet just recommended it for our 12 y.o. yorkie---as much as a preventive as anything else. Too soon to tell if it is making a difference if we will ever be able to see any. But, no harm, no foul.

Been on it myself for 20-some years.
