    Who's Right. Who's Wrong?

So I hunted with this guy last year for spring turkey. Ended up killing 2 and missing 2. He's been after me to come back again this year. He sent me a text a few weeks back about coming down opening weekend, March 31!!!
Didn't think to much of it, being that it's his ranch, that's when he was going to start turkey hunting. You see, his place is in Uvalde county, which shows spring turkey season in the south zone. Well, we were texting each other yesterday about when I could come hunt. Due to work, I can't go right now. Anyways, he told me when he had open dates and one is Mother's day weekend. By what I see, the south zone closes April 29. I told him that and he insist that he is in the north zone cause he is north of Hwy 90. I told him that Hwy 90 has nothing to do with spring season. He already has a group from Alabama booked for the first weekend in May.
Is he right and I'm missing something or am I right and his season will close April 29??

    Edit. You’re correct.

I don't hunt Uvalde. But I read the regulations like you.

It appears the only time north or south of US90 matters is in the fall...

Yeah, that's what I told him. Hope the GW doesn't show up when those guys from Alabama show up!!! That trip might cost more than they think!!!

                    What license?
                    Alabama is East, East Texas.
