Lil bit to much Hollywood for the bullet impacts. If it lifted him off his feet on one in it would do the same on the other.

Keep an eye on Taylor Sheridan who wrote it. He also did Hell or High Water and Sicarrio. He is going places! He is my brother-in-law's nephew...grew up in Clifton/Waco area and played the original LEO in Son's of Anarchy until he was killed off, then started writing. The dude is good!

Ha ha! I have not met him, but I do know his mother. She lives in Jackson, WY, and he lives somewhere up there. He patterned Jeff Bridges' Texas Ranger character in Hell or High Water after his cousin, Parnell McNamara, sheriff of McLennan County.

I had no idea that those three films were written by the same person. Amazing talent, as Sicario and Hell or High Water were big hits and Wind River was an amazing picture as well. Heck, anything this cat writes I'll go see as soon as it comes out.

Sicario is a bad arse movie. Canít wait for the second one - did he write it as well?

Been wanting to see wind river since it was in theaters, planning to watch this week.

I have that same gun, Marlin 1895 SBL and it is a beast for sure. My family is also from Lander, which is right there on the edge of the Wind River Indian Reservation. I enjoyed the movie and unfortunately, the drug and alcohol problem on the reservation is very real.

Exactly what I thought when I watched it.

It was a good movie, that 45-70 did work son! I liked Hell or High Water as well, didnít know the same guy was behind them both. Sicario was a little bit of a let down for me though. Previews ruined it for me I think.

I thought it was really good, especially when compared to a lot of the crap that's put out nowadays.
It was similar to the Longmire series, imo, and not just because of the cast.

I liked Sicario better the second time I watched it. Same with Fury. I missed some things in Sicario that I picked up on with the second viewing.

Watched it last night and it was a great show. Something Corey told the FBI agent in the hospital kinda stuck with me. He was telling her how strong a woman she was and she said she was just lucky. He replied, "Out here you don't get lucky. You either survive or you surrender".
