Default Age these 2 North Texas bucks

Hopefully the pics upload. The older buck is a 9 point that is definitely a shooter on our ranch. The younger buck is a beautiful 10 pt that we have put on the no shoot list. I'm curious to get more opinions on the ages.

Wow the pics that it pulled from my thumb drive were not what I told it to pull. The last pic with the superimposed pick of the 10 behind the 9 are the 2 bucks I was trying to post. The first pic in the group is a totally different buck. A couple of these were not even selected. I had picked 9 pictures and 3 of them came through. So I went back through and deleted some pics.

Buck in the front is old enough to be shot. That is for sure. He is mature without doubt. My guess is 6.5+ and the other buck behind him 4.5.

This is our first year on the place and I am waiting to see more deer get ground checked to raise my confidence in my age estimates. Right now I'm going with 6 1/2 and 3 1/2. I tried to load another set of pics of a deer that has poor genes and I think is the same age as the younger buck. I'll have to try to load the pics off of a different thumb drive.

Is the old buck missing a Brow tine to be 9 because I count 10 points. Also they look like father and son. Beams are very similar and tines are very close.

Sorry I didnt get back to this thread earlier. The left side had a pimple sized browetine. Shortly after I posted this thread the older buck broke the left side off. We'll see if he is back next year. The younger deer was on the no-shoot list.

The deer on the left in this picture has a roman nose and is thicker than the other. I would say he is the oldest of the two. Hard to tell actual age without looking a teeth

6yr old and 3yr old

Either of them would be bigger than anything we ever even saw on camera on our Throckmorton Cnty lease. That older one would have died VERY QUICKLY if he had stepped out in front of me. Great bucks! Should get a full recovery from the drought this year when it comes to antlers so I would not be surprised if some of the bucks antlers blew up this year compared to last year
