I am currently using 125 grain Magnus Black Hornet SER-Razor fixed broadheads this year. Prior to this year I used Magnus stinger buzzcuts with great success. I had problems with mechanical broadheads in the past and went to a fixed head a few years ago and haven’t lost a animal yet. I am a big fan of the Magnus products due to there customer service and made in America guarantee.

You want a beefy, very sharp fixed broadhead for thicc critters like nilgai. Unless you are shooting an xbow then, and only then, would a mechanical be a good idea for nilgai

I killed my Nilgai with exodus 125 grain heads. I got drawn for the bow hunt 11/1-11/5 and the rifle for 12/13-12/16. This is the first rifle hunt that I have drawn in 15+ years that I have been applying. I still remember mailing in my apps every year. We’ll be staying at the Isla Inn for the bow hunt.

Anybody know for sure where the orientation is at? Last year it was at Los Fresnos community center... hopefully still at 9am. I got an email specifically about orientation last year but havent seen one this year...
