    Colorado Springs Co. ??

Gonna have half a day and some evening hours on my hands in Colorado Springs Co next week- anything I need to visit/see while I’m there?
I’ll have a rent car so somewhat of a drive isn’t out of the question.

    Thx for the pointers[emoji106]

Go visit my friends after GOG. They have a brewery called Fossil Craft. It’s over by Rudy’s. Josh brews some of the best in town.

Half a day is hard to get up the peak and down but it could be done.

If your into rodeo the PBR museum is here.

            Good stuff fellas,

            Does the
“Cave of the winds” ring a bell to anyone- it’s a scheduled tour I can participate in while there- or ditch for something better.

You can take the train to the top of Pikes peak. The Golden Bee at the Broadmore is a great place to catch lunch.

We enjoyed cave of the winds.

GOG, was ok. Lots of history to read about, but the grandkids weren’t into it.

I want to ride the cog train again. That was cool. Take a jacket though.

We did all the things mentioned and they were great. However, the tour of the Olympic training center was the highlight for me! We did the VIP tour and got to eat with the athletes. I am into sports and Love the Olympics so I may be a bit biased. It was Awesome!!!

Cave of winds would be good.

The COG is closed as well. Probably won’t reopen. The broadmoor is evaluating whether or not to reopen it. Has a lot of repair maintenance costs.

There’s lots of traffic on I-25 if you’d like to see that.

Been stuck in it for a long while.

The thing I remember most from my visit was the large number of panhandlers!
