Default Snake!!

I never would have thought we would see any this late but this "lil" guy crawled under my wife's car at home. My 1 year old son had just been running around...man oh man. It measured just shy of 54".

I was thinking of those rattle bugs as I walked over some big rocks to get in the blind this afternoon. Glad you found him before he found your kiddo!!

We killed a little guy on our cabin porch in Nolan Co. last weekend. We were talking about it and we couldn't remember every killing a rattlesnake in December before.

Anyone else think its strange they're out this late in the year?

It's not about the time of year but the temperature of the day.
Nice one.

Yep. I was a little nervous letting the dog run around this evening in the mid to upper 60's. tomorrow in the teens should be no issue

I always heard 50 degrees was the magic number... above 50 degrees, always be on the lookout.
