Default Anyone know what brand of pistol this is?

I have a relative whos drooling over this shiny pistol. Wants it for a birthday gift. Anyone know what brand it is? I cant make it out in the photo. Thanks!

Colt Government 70 Series I believe. It's been made over that's for sure.

definitely a COLT 1911 nickel finish ... any better pics ???

serial number will confirm age and model

I would not spend a dime on that pistol until further clarification of details

Is that copper plated? Never seen that before. Doesn't look like gold unless something weird with the picture.

I agree. Pretty ugly firearm. Its actually for a female relative whos NEVER owned a firearm before. I believe shes thinking more of this as jewelry. I promised Id investigate for her but Ill STRONGLY recommend some shooting/safety lessons and a bit more appropriate weapon. Thanks for the info.
