agree on this! its going to upset the true mustang fans because no mustang should ever be run by a battery........ OR HAVE 4 DOORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i dont think the car is terribly ugly it just needs a different name.

This is just another model, it's not replacing the current Mustang. Ford will keep the Mustang as you know it now. Ford is trying to start a new "brand" and cash in on the midsize SUV hype. Lots of middle age men in cities will buy the electric GT version to haul their families around. And it should be pretty fast. Yes, it is ugly.

Corvette is doing the same thing as far as branding goes, trying to distance itself from Chevy. I suspect something electric from Corvette is in the works.

Can’t believe they labeled it as a Mustang. Huge mistake that could destroy the Mustang name.

My understanding is that this is a SUV version of the mustang, I heard rumors of corvette doing the same thing.
