Credible Fear interviews move along quicker than most regular immigration hearings. It really all depends on availability of judges. This is why its imperative that the military be used as a virtual wall to not allow them in until CBP is allowed to be the virtual wall they are designed for and or a physical wall.

I remember reading about Battle in the 80's & by the late 90's LE had slowed down drug distribution. Colombians were the biggest problems we had in S Florida along with Cuban criminals both made a perfect storm for crime. Went to college in Miami, late 60's worked for the FAA @ Mia AP, I witnessed tons of cocaine & pallets of cash.

Interesting read about Battle what I did learn about criminals was much of their wealth was exaggerated. Back home I have a pic of Mobster Meyer Lansky & I back in 1981 or 82 he was believed to be a millionaire but died broke
